Se forma la tormenta subtropical Theta
(CRHoy.com).-La noche de este lunes se formó la tormenta subtropical Theta, informó el Centro Nacional de Huracanes (NHC, por sus siglas en inglés) de Estados Unidos.
Se trata de la tormenta número 29 con nombre de la temporada de huracanes 2020.
"La estructura de Theta ha evolucionado de un ciclón frontal a un ciclón subtropical, aunque un límite frontal permanece cerca en el lado noreste de la circulación", señala un boletín del NHC publicado en Twitter.
La tormenta subtropical se forma en el Atlántico cuando la región centroamericana apenas se recupera del devastador paso del huracán Eta.

Subtropical Storm #Theta has developed tonight in the Northeast Atlantic, the 29th named storm of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
This breaks the single season record for the most named storms previously held by the 2005 Hurricane Season.
